We set high standards for ourselves and take it for granted that both our environmental work and our social responsibility are in place. It is a requirement we not only have on ourselves, we also assume that our suppliers and partners have the same. If you want to supply to Proton Group, you need to work actively with sustainability and are expected to work towards reducing your climate footprint, take your social responsibility and offer good working conditions and fair values.

We constantly strive to find new ways to make a positive impact on the world around us and create improvements step by step. It could be the way we get to and from work, how we optimise energy efficiency or how we approach community engagement. All are important, but we are particularly proud of the last one, where we choose to support children and youth organisations. If we are to create a better future for people, we need to focus on those who will grow up and pass on the baton. They deserve to grow up in a safe society and on a healthy planet for a long time to come.

We want to contribute to a local community where children and young people have meaningful leisure time and where we can help young people get education, training and jobs. This is why we participate in various activities with schools and associations. We also want to ensure a good working environment and environmental considerations in our value chains, including supplier and customer chains.

Environment
Climate impact
We want to contribute to the Paris Agreement goals by reducing our carbon footprint. As a first step, we are carrying out climate assessments for the different parts of our operations. We will then set out a plan to reach our goal of being climate neutral by 2045.
Local footprint
We want to contribute to a better use of resources by reducing our material consumption and preventing, reducing, reusing and recycling our waste. We also work on the responsible management of chemicals to minimise negative impacts on human health and the environment.
